Conference Semi Finals Predictions
WEST
Chicago Blackhawks (1) vs San Jose Sharks (6)
San Jose with a statement beating a injury riddled Edm club will be in a fight with the President trophy winners the Blackhawks. Hawks will be welcoming Duncan Keith back to the line up. The Hawks have their guns Hossa (5pts) and Sharp (4pts) in a good series that lasted 5 games. While the Sharks have a trio of Wingles, Turries and Alfie with 5 pts a piece. The Sharks will keep each game close, although at least one blow out will eventually happen. The Hawks will win again in 5 and really find their groove with a much more depth D core.
Goalie Match Up Vokun 2.43 .90% vs Mason 2.60 .90%
Injures
NO INJURIES
Chicago in 5
LA KINGS (2) vs Detroit Red Wings (4)
Although the Kings may look like the favorites they should be concerned. Not only do the Kings have some wingers out with concussions the Wings have had some success over the Kings this season. Wings are really started to be a real strong team, season and post season and pressure does not hurt them. Datsyuk with 10 pts in 4 games and Foligno with 6 this team looks to be in the right state of mind. Kings have Quick but he will have to be amazing to have a shot. Look for the Wings Big Guns to continue to step it up and run with this series. This will set up a Wings vs Blackhawks rematch of last year's 1st round.
Goalie Match Up Quick 2.45 .89% vs Halak 2.26 .85% vs
Injuries
LA - Brown (23 games Concussion)
- Loktionov (14 games Concussion)
Wings in 4
EAST
Toronto Maple Leafs (1) vs New York Rangers (6)
Leafs cruised through the first round and are up against the Rangers. This original six match up should be a good one. Rangers come off a hard fought victory in their series against the Jets. Rangers will give a fight but the mighty offence of the Leafs will rain supreme. Legwand is leading the charge 7pts in 4 games while the Rangers duo of Bartschi and Skinner both have 3pts a piece. The Rangers defense and goal tending will keep them in all games but unless they shut down the buds offence the Rangers will not be able to fight goal for goal.
Goalie Match up - Fleury 1.75 .88% vs Lundqvist 2.43 .89%
Injuires
NYR - Cizikas (1 game injuried Ribs) PLAYABLE
- Atkinson (1 games broken nose) PLAYABLE

New York Islanders (2) vs New Jersey (4)
Two very skilled teams are the Devils and the Islanders. Both have great scoring and top the league for GF in the regular season. Grabner and Couture highlight the Islanders offensive parade with league leading 12pts (1) and 8 (2) all in a 4 game series. New Jersey's offensive punch came from Riberio and Lantandresse in the first round with 6 and 5 pts respectively. This one is a up to the tenders and the d-men. Both extremely skilled teams but in the end the Islanders will be off to the ACC to meet the Leafs in the Conference Final.
