Concerned

I just wanted to take a moment to say a few things that's been on my mind for a while. As many of you know I am not the greatest player or anything but I have been a member for a long time since season 2 in NHL 13 with a brief absence in season 3 and been back ever since. Win lose or draw I love this league and want to do anything to help it out and let it continue to grow.

Unfortunately I find this year (NHL 14) we all are complaining, accusing and bickering a lot more than ever before. I thinks its extremely important to express or views and opinions but I think we all are doing it in the wrong ways and I feel we are hurting the league as a whole.

I feel if you are not happy with players, or methods or things of that nature we need to bring it up to the proper people who can do something about it. I have a huge amount of respect for this league and the commish and I think when we do not talk to him about our issues its not helping anyone.

If there is anything I can do to help I will no problem, I am not ranting to accuse as I think we have all complained in one way or another and its ok to do so but we need to do it the right way.

Having the public see us complain and fight all the time is not good at all, I truly feel it needs to be fixed in order for us to get back to the level we should be at.

He have tremendous players/gms in this league all who's opinion I like and want to hear I just do not agree on how we all are doing it.

Maybe cause I'm not on chat I don't see people fighting as much but in my opinion people should keep there posts to themselves after you just play because EVERYONE overreacts and is pissed after a loss and you say things you don't mean, already had 2 gm's say sorry about how they reacted the day after a game. I realize I won't be liked for saying this but leagues that focus on catching glitch shots tend to fight way more, every single glitch shot is preventable with solid defense and as long as we have rules there will be fighting. Every time someone pauses after I score I question if I did something wrong and have even pulled my goalie thinking someone thought the toe drag wrister was a glitch and didn't want problems so I just gave him a goal for no reason. Not saying we should get rid of glitch shot rules just not focus as much on them, and if I ever glitch shot anyone pause the game tell me and I'll give you a goal back if I believe it's a glitch, we don't need to act like kids and run to akash.

I have witnessed this and I do believe there are better ways to solve peoples problems than fighting over chat. However, if I ever see someone start insulting another GM because of pointless and stupid conflict, I will stand up for that fellow GM which I have recently, regardless of whether or not I should or should not get involved. Disagreeing with a GM is one thing but insulting a GM for the stupidest reasons I cannot and will not stand.

I have been on both ends of this and I have learned there are better ways than fighting and stressing out over a game.
