Game Settings:
-Period Length: 7 Minutes
-Difficulty: All-Star
-Game Mode: Simulation
-Post Whistle Rules: Authentic
-Interval Rate(Ticker): The ticker will be set to 2 week intervals during the season. This means 2 weeks of schedule will appear at a time. You will have 5 days to complete all of your games within the 2 weeks of in game schedule (i.e. Wild play 7 games in 2 weeks, I have 5 real days to complete my 7 games). The ticker will be set ahead at the end of the fifth day, those who didn’t finish their games will have their games simmed. There will be a warning prior to the Commissioner going ahead and simming the games.
Rules:
1. There will be a 3 strike rule for GM’s in the league. If a player receives complaints against them they will receive warnings, upon the third warning they will be ejected from the league. False accusations against a fellow GM will be met with harsh consequences as well. We will ask others around the league regarding player complaints to confirm these accusations.
Ways to get a strike added and removed:
- Not completing the tick.
- Not responding to my or other GMs messages
- Exploitation scoring the same goals over and over again.
- Completing all your games for continuous ticks (2 or more)
- Helping out with the forum.
- Staying active on the forum
2. GM’s inactive for more than 5 days will be replaced unless notice is given to the commissioner EX. Im going on vacation from March 7th - March 21st) when you are away please enable your CPU.
*NEW THIS YEAR* The 5 day activity rule will count as being offline for 5 days on Xbox, or not logging onto the forum in more than 5 days will have you booted.
3. Cheesing, glitching, etc. will NOT be accepted in this league! Members who receive consistent complaints in this regard will face disciplinary action, as well as being faced with ejection from the league.
4. No exploiting or continuous use of exploitative plays (glitch goals). If a GM receives complaints about abusing these plays/goals you will face disciplinary action
5. When joining this league you are making a promise to stay active on the forums and NHL. If any problems come up please notify me.Failing to stay active on either the forum or game will result in a strike.
6. This league is a 1v1 league. NO EXCEPTIONS. All games must be played 1v1.
7. Wrecking a team will not be tolerated in this league. I do not want to see any re-building by anyone in this league as we wont be going to Season 14 in NHL 14. We max go up to season 5 maybe.
8. If you need to leave the league PLEASE notify me first. So I can get a replacement for you.
9. This is a league meant to bring us together in a fun environment, always be respectful towards other GM’s in the league. If you have problems with another GM contact one of the site’s admins or the Commissioner himself. Trash talking fellow GM’s in game or on the forum will be tolerated to a certain extent. Once it gets too far, you will be warned. if this continues via PMs or any other manner, you will be blacklisted from the league.
10. There are no limit on how many trades you can make in a season, but I would strongly suggest you be smart about your trades.
11. If a trade appears to be incredibly lopsided, the commissioner will message both GM’s and ask for a proper explanation in regards to the trade. If it’s plausible (i.e. "I'm dumping Rick Nash for a 2nd round pick to shave salary so I have enough cap space to sign Player X,") it will be accepted. Otherwise the Commissioner will reject the trade.
12. Players bored/looking to quit the league may not trade away all of their teams’ players.
13. In game play please DO NOT abuse the other team, by scoring the same goal every single time. IE: Skating in the circle going shortside every time. Change it up how you score, make it a fun environment for both GMs in games.
14. Respect in this league is mandatory. It doesn't matter how many strikes you have, but any disrespectful treatment towards any GM will have you booted out of the league in an instant.

16. GM's MUST let me know if they enable their CPU for any reason and what the reasoning is.
17. CPU is not allowed to be played unless it is posted in the Absences board that they are away. You may only play their CPU if it is listed in Absences.
18. Leg kicks are banned from the league. You may only do them on a breakaway. * Leg Kicks are now allowed, as after some testing we have found it not to be a "glitch goal"*
19. Weekly activity checks will be happening. Failure to do the activity check will result in a strike.
20. Rage quitting will NOT be tolerated in this league. Rage quitting a game without any notice will result in an automatic boot from the league.
21. All trades made are allowed to be backed on upon, UNTIL the stage they have been approved by the Trade Committee. Once the Trade is approved by the TC, the trade is set in stone, and it cannot be backed out on. There are exploits on how to get out of a trade (Leaving the league, rejoining). If you do this to back out of a trade, we will be punishing you. This is effective immediately.
22. There is no ragging of the puck in game at any time in the game. If you happen to rag the puck, or be in a game where somebody is ragging the puck, please record it and SEND IT TO ME PRIVATELY. Consequences will be harsh.
