Hey all! Last developer diary has been released, and NHL 14 is coming close. As you all know we will be continuing into NHL 14, and we wanted to have a draft for teams, but we wanted one that would HONOR GMs commitment to the league. So now i have to you, our draft order plan.

(Subject to MINOR changes)

VHA DRAFT ORDER

NHL 14 Draft

Its that time of year where we are in the dawn of a new NHL season and a new NHL game. This season, we are going to do a NHL draft to determine which GM gets which team. Some orders will be fixed and can’t be changed and others will be random which will be grouped by season joined. The following is a chart of the draft and possible order it can take place.

Season 1: Aug 2012-Dec 2012
Season 2: Jan 2013-March 2013
Season 3: April 2013-(When it ends)
Season 4: (When it starts)-Aug 2013

[Group 1]: The Commissioners
This group is fixed and will not change due to the commissioners getting top picks for their hard work running the league. Order determined by rank.
1: Th3 Undeniable
2: Da Grishmeister

[Group 2]: The Originals
This group is fixed and will not change due to the loyalty of the original founding members of the Virtual Hockey Association. Order is dertimerind by the order that they joined.
3: SpectreFour
4: ConcreteHat93
5: Frank2313
6: Cryillnis

[Group 3]: Stanley Cup Champions & League Workers/ Season 1 GMs
This group is fixed and will not change due to compensation to the Stanley Cup champions as rewards for winning the cup. In the event that one of the Stanley Cup champion(s) leaves the league before NHL 14 comes out, their pick in Group 3 will be nullified as we have done for Season 1 and Season 2 cup champions not being with us anymore. For the league workers, its all the GMs who have a job in the league For the season 1 GM's its for the GMs who werent part of the original 30 players who made the VHA.

13: Stanley Cup Champion for Season 4

[Group 5]: Season 2 (Jan 2013-March 2013)
This group is random and the order will changed. GMs that fall in this group joined the Virtual Hockey League in Season 2. GMs drawn from this Group will succeed Group 4 in securing their picks. Remember, the order determined in this group is random to ensure fairness to all the GMs that joined in Season 2.

[Group 6]: Season 3 ( April 2013-When it ends)
This group is random and the order will changed. GMs that fall in this group joined the Virtual Hockey League in Season 3. GMs drawn from this Group will succeed Group 5 in securing their picks. Remember, the order determined in this group is random to ensure fairness to all the GMs that joined in Season 3.

Only positions that can change will be the ones that are the Stanley Cup Champs. So if you have a lower pick, it makes winning the cup that much sweeter!!

One change has been made!

League workers, (Standing guy, Power Rankings) are added to the Stanley cup champions group. Therefore Gannon and Kschwang are bumped up to the 8,9 spot.. Sc winner follows. Draft order is revised
