VHA Trading Procedures
All trades need to be fair so the league can keep a fair and fun environement.
To ensure all trades are fair the following guidelines must be followed
All Trades must be within 10 points
Commishner has the ablity to veto any trade
a. if trade is veto'd and not over by 10 a small message will be sent to both members on VHA message board system explaining why it was veto'd
Reminder every Gm will have diffrent thoughts and opinons and views on the direction of their team. If they are prepared to take a trade when a vaule is over 10 that will be accepable but we must receive reasons for the trade, if not the trade will be veto'd.
Exception
if a trade exceeds 10 points and is accompanied by a explaination why and is ligit the league will except it and will display such message on the confirmed trade boeard so all members will understand why the trade has been allowed.
Ratings
Overall Rating will be the guidlines to all trades
Stars for players rating OVER 70 plus
white stars will count as 1
Yellow Stars will have a overall bonus 3
Stars for players rating UNDER 70
white stars will count as 1
Colored Stars be +2 per star
Draft Picks
a. draft picks will have the Following value
1st round - 50 points
2nd Round - 25 points
3-7th Round - 10 points
Example :
Letang 90 with 4 stars yellow VHA rating is 97
vs
Seabrook 86 4.5 white stars VHA rating is 90.5
Difference 6.5 favouring the team receiving letang result this is a fair trade
Example :
Letang 90 with 4 stars yellow VHA rating is 97
vs
McKinnon 60 4.5 (colored stars x2 ) VHA rating is 70
Trade would not be approved with out a explaination
Example:
Letang 90 with 4 stars yellow VHA rating is 97
vs
McKinnon 60 4.5 (colored stars x2 ) VHA rating is 70
2nd round pick VHA rating 25
This trade would be approved
Example:
Letang 90 with 4 stars yellow VHA rating is 97
Reimer 84 with 4 stars yellow VHA rating is 91
1st round pick VHA rating 25 points
total = 213
vs
Seabrook 86 4.5 white stars VHA rating is 90.5
b schem 79 4 yellow stars VHA rating is 87
m carruth 60 2.5 yellow stars VHA rating is 65
total = 242.5
trade is not accepable (team would need to restructure deal)
Computer to Human Trades
If a trade is over 10 points and has a great reason why the trade should be allowed, it will be voted by the league. The trade will be listed with the explaination of why it should be done. The league will vote on the trade and the vote will last 1 day. The vote must have at leaast 10 votes casted if not it will be VETO'd. If the vote is listed and no votes on the trade it will be relisted once if the minum votes are not reached it will then be veto'd.
If trades are not with in 10 points it will be veto'd
This is a work in progress so these rules will be amended when needed. Commisner will have the ablitly to overturn any discusision. When any decision is overturned or veto a breif explanition will be given on the VHA website.
