Well, another playoff season has started, which means we have to select our new GM of the Year!!!
You are allowed to select 3 GMs to win the vote. The reveal will be at the conclusion of the Stanley cup finals in GMC. Without further ado, let me introduce you to our nominees for the GM of the Year!
PHI (NJ x Pixelated):
Nick has been a dominant force in this league. Ever since he came into the league last season, he has been thrashing teams left and right (except for Beaver...) Nick carried the Flyers to their 1st division title in VHA history! He also won the presidents trophy, and has been one of the most active members of the league.
BOS (KScHwAnG)
Karl helps out with the wonderful standings that are up to date everyday. Everyday, GMs know where they sit in the conference, and how far out they are of making that last playoff spot. Gameplay wise, he took the Boston Bruins to their 1st ever division title in VHA history. Boston was a basement dweller in the past, and bringing them back to the playoffs feels great.
MTL (Gannon x10)
Gannon this season, had many, many, many changes to his team. With a record 24 trades this season, Montreal saw many faces come and go, but this seemed to work for Gannon, as the Canadiens finished 2nd in the NE division; only 1 point behind the Bruins. Gannon also serves us with his awesome power rankings.
FLA (JG 29)
JG has taken the riddled Panthers, and turned them into a great team! This Panthers team had gone under many GMs; none of which could take the team or tolerate it. JG led the Panthers to the SE division title. Which is also the teams 1st in VHA history.
CHI (Th3 Undeniable)
I am the commish of this great league, and i feel i do lots of work to keep it running smoothly. I couldnt have done it without other GMs like you guys! I have won the Central division 3 years in a row now, so i am going to be looking to win the cup this season. Uhh yeah..
CGY (Mukluks)
Timi.. Well Timi has been complained about numerous times about his "Style of play". This had led to his departure in the past. This season, he hasent had MANY complaints, but he is still a force to be reckoned with, and will most likely compete with Philly for the Stanley cup. He won the NW division, after taking over a CGY team who finished last place in S2.
VAN (vFlawIess)
Flawless may not be the most active GM, but the thing that shows how good he is as a player and a GM is the work he has done with the Canucks team. As most of you may remember, The old canucks gm in s1 had bought out the whole team, and let them out to dry and be the scrub team. Flawless came into the league with many different team choices, but he decided to take the canucks. With a 4th place finish in the conference, and a somewhat decent team. Flawless has worked the magic of a GM
DAL (Da Grishmeister)
Grish is the co-commish of the league, he won the pacific division and is looking to avenge a loss on last years playoffs. He is my main man, like robin and batman, he helps out a ton on this forum, and i cant take all the credit because Grish does a hell lot for this league as well!
